The LunkerNotes Project Software Benefits For Its Users
1. LunkerNotes is a software program designed for fishermen of all types—recreational, commercial, tournament, etc. It offers benefits for both the novice and seasoned fisherman, and it can be great fun for kids just learning to enjoy and appreciate the sport of fishing.
2. Users create a new record for each of their fishing trips. Information entered can include, but is not limited to, the body of water fished, the water conditions, the weather conditions, the bait used, the depth fished, what was caught, where fish were caught (GPS Waypoints), a description of each fish, etc. There are also data fields provided that can be user customized.
3. There is also a Section that allows users to insert photographs of their catch, and to also insert copies of their important documentation, e.g., licenses, registrations, etc.
4. User data can be manually entered into the program, or it can be copied, pasted, scanned in, or imported from other electronic documents. Once data is entered, it can be searched, retrieved, sorted, compiled, displayed, and printed. LunkerNotes is also available in a mobile version that will facilitate the synchronization between handheld computers and desktop versions of the software.
5. The unique benefit that LunkerNotes provides to users is the ability to teach fishermen how to recognize patterns that will catch more fish for them. This is accomplished through the many searching and sorting functions available to the users.
6. Perhaps one of the more exciting features of LunkerNotes is the functionality that allows fishermen across the stream or across the ocean to share data over the Internet. This is extremely beneficial when an excursion is planned to a never-before-fished body of water.
