went to Dave for a special request-- a custom made jewelry
case for my gallery, Stone's Throw. I gave him a few
dimensions and told him to go for it-- and he did! What he
created was an elegant, yet whimsical piece with Lake Superior
beach glass and stones embedded along the edges, and larger
chunks for the drawer pulls. Customers gravitate toward his
case and want to know what I'd sell it for. I've had to
respond many times now that the jewelry case and my dog,
Georgia, are the only two things that are not for sale in the
store. Pretty soon I hope they'll start noticing the jewelry inside
